Leather and tobacco on the nose with brown sugar. Corn and oak sweetness and a faint whiff of mint on the nose as well. A nice punch of oak and and rye spice on the front of the palate coupled with a wonderful velvety texture. Brown sugar and a touch of maple syrup as well on the palate. This definitely one of my favorite Heaven Hill products.

I get a lot of youthfulness on the palate. I really like the nose!

I am shocked at how good this is! A very approachable rye. Dark berries on the nose and the palate.

Liquor Xpress really picks some wonderful barrels!

A nice red apple, leather and tobacco coupled with oak jumping out the glass. Very oaky on the palate. Which is totally fine with me. Caramel apple just dances on the tongue. The finish is long and strong. A very enjoyable dram! #E1BG

A very solid rye whiskey.

Candy apple on the nose which translates on the palate. It’s very well balanced dram!

What a rich and enjoyable bourbon!

This is a unique bourbon for sure. It’s a bit grainy on the nose and the front palate. The corn sweetness definitely shines through on the back palate, coupled with vanilla as well. A very enjoyable dram.
