Tastes

Nose: Sweet oak coupled with baking spices. A lot of vanilla, maple syrup and or brown sugar. The barrel is present on the nose. Palate: vanilla sweetness definitely transfers to the palate. Cinnamon on the back end. With a nice oak presence. Finish: Medium long finish to long with no off putting after taste. The oak is definitely present at the end in a good way. Lone Elm is my favorite wheat whiskey. I found my bottle in North Carolina. What am I going to do when my bottle runs out? I guess I will book a trip to Texas and visit the distillery! #TexasWhiskey #LoneElm

The best bourbon I’ve ever tasted! 03/19/2022

After letting this bottle sit for a few months. It opened up beautifully! I’m still not crazy about the nose. On the palate I get a beautiful almond butter note coupled with a velvety texture. With a medium long finish.

What a wonderful blend!

My favorite from The Johnnie Walker line.

This is definitely becoming one of my favorite ryes! The embodiment of a Kentucky rye.

Well rounded (smooth) for the proof. Nice Vanilla on the finish and a nice cinnamon spice. A very enjoyable dram!
