There is apple/pear notes, honey, spring flowers, dashes of caramel, cereal then some iodine, the peat comes on pretty heavy, and takes over most of the finish with the exception of a exceptional spice. sweden did well on this one, with it being an intro into high coast, and scandanavian whisky in general. very impressed.

A twangy start, some menthol on the front turning into cinnamon, oak, prune, herbality that goes later to a long spicy finish. Nothing to bark at personally.

There is brown sugar, pronounced oak, caramel, char, and closer to the finish some almost prune notes with a vanilla and spice finish. I feel like its been treated pretty poorly in the reviews. its definitely not as bad as some say, just nothing crazy.

Light and open whiskey, nothing overwhelming about this. There is cereal, rich caramel, solid amounts of oak along side some honey and floral notes thats are engulfed by a heavy cinnamon finish. the finish is quite long and medium sweetness. if you enjoy sweeter whiskeys this would definitely be down your alley. Perfect hints of sweetness on this one that arent overwhelmingly rich.

after talking to a trusted customer who is a true fan of peat and smoke, and he recommended this brand to me as a more peaty blended scotch whisky.I pick up some mild cereal notes, dashes of brown sugar, some rye-esque spice and hay as well. The finish definitely picks up most of the peat. This isnt an extravagant whisky but bring alot more to the table as far as peat than others. This is probably the best bottom shelf blended scotch ive had and i will continue to buy it as a budget buy.

It’s proof can be felt immediately, with red fruit on the beginning, some prune, oat, brown sugar, mild saline, maple syrup? The oak and spice comes later closer to the finish. these notes come and go in a flash. the finish is a rapid and hot, spicy and sweet bang that ends a bit quickly. It’s quite dry and tannic, maybe from the proof. Its flavorful but quite hot which is one of my only complaints.
