Oak & Eden Wheat & Honey - Honey Soaked Oak
Bourbon — (bottled in) Texas, USA
Reviewed August 4, 2023Light and open whiskey, nothing overwhelming about this. There is cereal, rich caramel, solid amounts of oak along side some honey and floral notes thats are engulfed by a heavy cinnamon finish. the finish is quite long and medium sweetness. if you enjoy sweeter whiskeys this would definitely be down your alley. Perfect hints of sweetness on this one that arent overwhelmingly rich. -
Teacher's Highland Cream
Blended — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed August 4, 2023 (edited November 14, 2023)after talking to a trusted customer who is a true fan of peat and smoke, and he recommended this brand to me as a more peaty blended scotch whisky.I pick up some mild cereal notes, dashes of brown sugar, some rye-esque spice and hay as well. The finish definitely picks up most of the peat. This isnt an extravagant whisky but bring alot more to the table as far as peat than others. This is probably the best bottom shelf blended scotch ive had and i will continue to buy it as a budget buy. -
It’s proof can be felt immediately, with red fruit on the beginning, some prune, oat, brown sugar, mild saline, maple syrup? The oak and spice comes later closer to the finish. these notes come and go in a flash. the finish is a rapid and hot, spicy and sweet bang that ends a bit quickly. It’s quite dry and tannic, maybe from the proof. Its flavorful but quite hot which is one of my only complaints.Spec's Wines, Spirits & Finer Foods

Sweet right out the bat, a dark vanilla, cinnamon toast crunch, chocolate, and finishes with a light rye and baking spice finish. Super weird and interesting but not an everyday sipper imo. its an awesome whiskey to pull out to impress friends, family, and a pull for when all other whiskeys arent cutting your particular craving. The most notable thing is that insane cinnamon toast flavor, its so unique. Awesome for wintertime drinking70.0 USD per Bottle

some slight caramel, brown sugar, hay, oakiness and notable char there is a mild wood smoke as well. mild maltiness near the finish, where the spice returns again and leave a drier finish on your tongue. reallt not too impressed with this tbh. Im not a bug bourbon guy to begin with but the high malt aspect drew me in. Its a decent buy for the 27 bucks i got it for.32.0 USD per Bottle

Deep and rich, touches of caramel in the begining then some rich cocoa, dashes of earth, char, oak, raisin and prune, then evolving to some almost herbal notes like dill. the finish is medium and smooth with a chewey spiced finish. awesome whiskey, rich and full.42.0 USD per BottleSpec's Wines, Spirits & Finer Foods

Kraken Black Spiced Rum
Spiced Rum — Trinidad & Tobago
Reviewed July 18, 2023 (edited August 24, 2023)thick and rich right off the bat. Intense vanilla, dark sugar, and caramel which ends in a medium length spiced finish mostly cinnamon. Its a classic intro for many into finer rums, althought my palate is simply no longer partial to this rum. Its a step about morgan and bacardi thats for sure. Its a good mixer with a root beer as well with the dark molasses flavors mixing well.18.0 USD per Bottle
