G4 Blanco de Madera
Tequila Blanco — Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed September 24, 2023 (edited October 8, 2023)Anise, heavy herbality on the front with some light agave sweetness, with the body containing more roasted agave, green pepper, black pepper, straw and heavy minerality. the finish is still heavy with minerality and pepper and is short to medium length, smooth but packed with flavor. im very satisfied with this blanco! would recommend for anyone looking for a mineral rich, high proof blanco.65.0 USD per Bottle -
Rabbit Hole Dareringer Straight Bourbon Finished in PX Sherry Casks
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA

Hot. I notice a prominent rye note closer towards the finish. caramel, slight vanilla, but mostly heavier oak and hay, cereal, heavy char and a familiar rye spice finish. I highly enjoyed this whiskey and was similar in some aspects to calumet 15 in some aspects. Blows buffalo and weller green out of the water

Vanilla and caramel notes you get in most whiskey in the beginning with the agave coning later. In general mostly light caramel, vanilla, roasted agave, lime, hay, then when the finish comes heavier oak, hay, cinnamon and mineral. this is a strange agave spirit for sure. Not bad but not as standard as the normal mexican tequila. There is some obvious bourbon notes from tbe barrel but they arent overtly intense and i personally enjoyed the higher proof. Maybe not everyones cup ot tea but i enjoyed the bottles thoughly.35.0 USD per Bottle

Indri Trini The Three Wood Indian Single Malt
Single Malt — India
Reviewed September 19, 2023 (edited September 21, 2023)This is a weird one and im not sure where i stand yet. There is the more common caramel, hay, vanilla cereal which evolves into some baking spice, red fruits, SLIGHT anise and the finish comes along with more baking spice, a tad bit more oak and what another reviewer mentioned on the finish as grassy roasted coconut. The finish is the most interesting thing i encountered, but that doesnt make it great. what does make it great is the price point of around 40 bucks and that its nice to try a malt outside of scotland. i may return to taste again44.0 USD per BottleSpec's Wines, Spirits & Finer Foods -
a floral, caramel to start with that creates notes of oak, honey, cereal, a milder baking spice that turns into some more spice with an apparent dark fruit note from the sherry. The peat appears closer to the end and is noticeable but not overwhelming. Its really solid for the price (27 without tax).
