overpowering medicinal/vegetal flavor IMMEDIATELY, evolving to a lime rind, unsatisfactory smoke, along with some fake vanilla hints mixed in. The finish is smooth and Smokey but leaves a lot to be desired. This comes off as a mass produced, watery excuse for an espadin mezcal. try Machetazo or Yuu Baal for a nice joven espadin. this definitely isn’t a sipping mezcal in my opinion, but good for mixed drinks.

There is a prominent sharp, herbal, green agave note, followed by a vanilla, SLIGHT caramel, then a black/white pepper, moderate minerality finish with a dash of anise. interesting relative to tequila. the difference between this and most other tequilas is this one one uses wild fermentation standard of other which is somewhat noticeable. Very interesting! Good price point too!

I’m not a big fan of any orange flavors so this was not my cup of tea. Lots of hay and citrus, mostly orange and orange rind.

Solid reposado, had this during a tasting at the specs on bandera. there is a lot a hay, a great amount of herbal flavor/green agave notes, finishing in a short finish with some porty dark fruit notes.

Tasteless palate, then hits you with an weak roasted agave, bitter smoke. Somehow both weak and flavorless while also acrid. Poor mezcal. If you want a good mezcal try Nucano or Yuu Baal.
