    There’s a heavy artificial vanilla flavor near the finish. It’s not the worst thing ever but if you wanted something like this put perfected, get the adictivo doble reposado

    Pretty solid rum. nice brown sugar molasses type sweetness with a bit of a spicy finish. it’s manageable as a sipper but probably does better as a mixer.

    I’m not too familiar with calvados but I didn’t enjoy this one too much. Straight it is crisp and extremely dry. Notes of apple, pear, minuscule tinges of honey with larger notes of hay ending in a slightly spicy but mostly dry finish. The drink becomes much more appealing while on the rocks, almost as if the water releases a bit of sweetness from the drink.

    RETRY: sweet brown sugar to start with, some honey, cereal, some slight baking spice. Mild oak char and oak then take over and ride the finish which is pretty damn smooth. after trying eagle, buffalo and weller, i can say that this willett surpasses all of those. its become one of my favorite, as its something i can share with a established whiskey lover or someone getting into the world of whiskey. the price point isnt all too miserable either, very much recommended.

    It’s okay. It’s pretty unremarkable aside from the rum cask finish. start with caramel and oak, slight spice and cherry hit with a molasses and brown sugar finish. It’s a bit sharp and spicy. Would be a good scotch to get into but there’s a lot better bottles you can grab.

    Massive amounts of jalapeño/ green pepper notes. Little no to Smokiness with a dry finish of agave. If you love peppers you’ll love this one. Not my cup of tea but it’s interesting for sure!

    A wonderful mezcal. It has a classic espadin smokiness but also hosts flavors like lime peel, strawberry, and even a hint of juniper. The finish is relatively long and dry but in a smooth, delicate fashion. It leaves a soapy, Smokey, sweet flavor on the tastebuds.

    Very solid extra anejo. Pronouced Flavours of wood and caramel, brown sugar and a nice agave/saponin sharpness that compliments the former flavours.
