Tastes

Nose. Slight wood, brine and oily notes followed by fruit and a touch of smoke. Palate. Intense and smoky, dark chocolate and, at the end, medicinal flavours. Finish. Beautifully long. It sticks with you. I love this whisky; it’s easily one of my desert island picks.

Nose: Brine and sea salt, with some toffee sweetness. Palate. Malty and buttery, with a hint of vanilla. It finished with soft dried fruit.

Nose. Light smoke, a hint of salted caramel, leather, sherry. Palate. Fruit and nut chocolate, brine and vanilla. There’s a malty quality and Sherry influence. Finish. Medium-long, woody spice and some smoky warmth. Really decent drink at this price.
