This smells a lot like Corralejo Reposado used to, but lighter, without the wine funk, and with more spice, citrus, and some minerality. Nice vanilla, caramel, and pepper that balance with cooked agave and minerality in the palate with a medium-light body. Semi sweet finish with white pepper, milk chocolate, and grapefruit lingering. You can tell this is aged in French oak rather than bourbon barrels.
Smooth and entering into the relm of high quality tequilas but a little to sweet/fruity for my taste. Overall i like it, nice to sip but as a mixer it lacks that boldness that something like an Espolon Reposado has to make the drink pop.
Bright gold in the glass, this smooth sipping Tequila shows rounded notes of vanilla and creme brûlée, perfect for just sipping or squeeze some grapefruit juice and have one of the best palomas ever.
