I’ve had my eyes on this for a while, but was always skeptical to buy it. I generally find Canadian whiskey a bit too mild, and as if they simply just need more time in barrel. The ones I did enjoy had more oomph and swagger, but I find those far and few.

Aroma of green apple, vanilla pudding. Solid grain backbone.
Taste is not as spicy as I expected…mild almost. Maple, rye bread. Not showing it’s 65% at all.
Overall, a solid offering. Middle of the road for me. I’d not go out hunting for it , but given it’s just under $40, you simply can’t go wrong. At that price, it beats the competition.
Thanks @pkingmartin for the pour!
