Ancho Reyes Ancho Chile Liqueur

Burnt caramel, chili, dried fruits/raisins, chocolate?

Nose of caramelized and roasted chiles, turbinado sugar, cinnamon, cocoa, and black cocktail cherry. Sweet and lightly spicy on the palate; flavors of chile peppers, raisins, dates, chocolate, baking spices and jalapeño jelly. Lovely.

Muy buen sabor, queda a deber en aromas, pero es un indispensable para la nueva coctelería mexicana. Picor delicioso. Very good flavor, but it still lacks in aromas, but it is a must for the new Mexican cocktails. Delicious spiciness.

Solid. Plenty of warming chili spice without being overdone. Sweet base with some cacao and baking spice notes.

Sweet chili heat. Grown on me as I have tried it more often. Great for a modified Old Fashioned.

This liqueur has really grown on me. The more I have it, the more I like the sweet heat.
