Reviewed May 16, 2024 (edited September 6, 2024)Nose: molasses, vanilla, hazelnut, wood, hints of fruit Taste: reflects the nose It has a dulled funky, fruit nose thats typically more prominent with Jamaican rums. Thats substituted but the elegant barrel notes that come from the longer age. Overall, a very well balanced and tasty rum. Great on its own or in cocktails -

Reviewed January 1, 2024 (edited September 26, 2024)Gives an older impression than the 15 year, more cask influence. Accordingly, the ratio pot/collumn is different. Shows one's more that with rum different ages does not mean that the rum is otherwise the same. I prefer the 15, more nuanced, subtle, less overt oak. -

Reviewed December 7, 2023 (edited December 28, 2023)Strong hogo, molasses, overripe banana, brown sugar, tropical fruit, toffee, caramel, vanilla and oak notes. Semisweet and somewhat rich. Enjoyable enough neat. I’m about half way through this bottle. It seems like every pour has been somewhat unique with different notes accented. Not sure that i like it enough to buy another bottle.
