Barrell Bourbon Batch 005

Nose of charred oak , cedar box , seasalt. Taste includes burnt sugars, dark chocalate, cinnamon butter. My favorite Barrell bourbon batch out of 8 or so prior batches i have tried . Finish is long and keep unfolding into more flavors of vanilla and baking spices. It a shame this batch has long since disappeared off the shelves or i would be on my way to the store for backup bottle.

Huge mouthfeel as all BB are, but this one is backed with strong and beautiful toasted oak amd treenut. Slight pumpkin spice and cinnamon that add just enough sweetness to round out the strong oak backbone .

Neat. A perfect burn: spicy, but mellow enough to get through with zero problems. Very tasty.

Vine and Table special release. 14 year age. 100.5 proof. Delicious

Honey, cherries and heat. Tamed down nicely with a bit of wawa.
