Nose is mostly Bourbon cask with a mild peat smoke. Flavor is sweet maltiness, sherry, oak with just a whisp of smoke. A tasty subtle Speyside, just thinking what a few more years of barrel time and a bit more smoke would do for this.
Nose - smokey, apple, slight bribe and herbal notes
Taste - light smoke and ash, juicy sweetness underneath, a bit of oak tannin and spice
Finish - dry, spicy, lingering, medium burn
The fruitiest nose on a whisky I've had (I've a poor sense of smell): green apple, stewed fruit, honey. Fruity, creamy, soft to taste. Lingers on oak, with a pleasant hum of sherry.
