Smokey

Sweet with raisins and vanilla chased by peat smoke on the nose. Taste is very peat and spice forward with a little brinyness on the back end. The finish is medium-long and warm. Overall, a nice, spicy, slightly generic peaty scotch. No major complaints.

77 Aroma: Sweet and fragrant with crisp apple notes and rich, buttery toffee. Palate: Smooth caramel meets aromatic cardamom spice and sweet sherry influence, rounded out by a spicy kick and a subtle hint of smoke. It’s an excellent choice if you’re a semi expirenced whisky lover, that’s a go to! Nothing special still a delicate single malt, with a hint of spiciness, a little caramel and nuts, nothing harsh or agressive. Forget ice, neat as it’s meant to be.
