Black Bull 12 Year (Duncan Taylor)

9/13/14. 88/100. Color is a nice oaky gold. A dryness on the palate with balance from orchard fruits like apple and pear with a hint of treacle sweetness. Crisp, a touch of salty peat with a finish of vanillas. Tasting panel magazine: 91/100-aug'14.

Really smooth, silky, not much bite at the end. Me like.

I really enjoy this blend. I haven't been into scotch as much lately but this is always a really good one. And somebody told me that Red Bull tried to sue them but they won citing previous use. I like that.
