Review is a compilation throughout the life of the bottle. Was always tasted in a Glencairn, sometimes with small amounts of water.
Cereal grains, caramel, and toffee on the nose with some type of fruit and a little sea air. Palate is like a salted caramel cakey dessert thing with a touch of smoke or maybe just crispy baked corners. The palate has a touch of smoke toward the middle along with salt. (I know it’s not peated). A little bitter and rubbery toward the end. Long finish with seaweed and a sort of tartness. Really benefits from sitting for about 20 mins. Wasn’t too stoked on it at first but it started to grow on me. Still wouldn’t buy again at $57.
