Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie

Nose: sweet, caramel, floral. Palate: starts neutral, then sweetness and pungent spices. Finish: oaky, bitterness, dryness. Pepper. Dark chocolate remains longer.

Great value for price!! On the nose, sweet honey, and a strong grainy youthful+ aroma. Cereal. Touch of citrus. You do taste the youth - not an aged whisky. Touch, small, of rubber and some light brioche. Slight wisp of smoke. But the taste is sweet and long and lingers. You can feel some oaky tannin as it leaves the palette.

It is a solid scotch. It shows it’s immaturity, but still has lots of flavor and sits on the tongue nicely. It’s good value for the price, just not to my tasting.

This is unlike and whisky I’ve tried before- it’s so difficult to describe- I think moreish sums it up.
