Nose of butterscotch, pepper spice, caramel, chocolate milk, orange, apple, cherry, spice, raspberry Taste begins with pepper spice, apple , caramel sweetness . Explodes into massive caramel, vanilla oakiness with some subtle fruit, pepper in the background. Raspberry note bright and then overripe comes in later. A minty ness on the tongue through the finish, powdered sugar. Walnut. Chocolate milk late. Moderately long finish.

Great pour. Moderate complexity on the nose opens into vanilla and baking spices. Flavor is a nice ride with a sweet, rich palate warming but not ethanol heavy. Better than expected

Nose: apple, brown sugar Taste: sour, tannins Finish: dry, baked apple The taste really lets this down for me. Objectively good whiskey, but the tannin and sour fruit combo did not taste good to me. Others may like this a lot though.

Yeah, I’m a fan of this. Big step up from the 10 year. Reminds me of the single barrel I had last year that was excellent
