Very, very smooth. Prominent sherry overtones - dominates the palate. Honey, some floral notes, fig and subtle raisin. Extremely drinkable for the price. Won't satisfy those looking for complexity, but a pretty easy recommendation for a go-to Irish. Great for the price.
Update - side by side with a number of other Irish, noticeably less sweet than others. A bit musty and pungent, but settles out nicely when drinking solo. An affordable choice for those who like nutty sherry notes without as much sweetness.
