Reviewed February 16, 2021 (edited July 30, 2022)My first mizunara aged/finished spirit. Nose: sandalwood and vanilla sweet, warming spices. Floral. Little bit of acetone. Spiky. Later on the nose got less spiky, more floral and sweet, more friendly for me. Palate: instant creamyness, floral, pungent spicy, sweet, some oaky dryness. Aftertaste: very short intesive finish, then very faint sweetness and tartness and spices for longer period of time. Extra: glass had wonderful smell on next morning. (I always keep glasses covered for few additionsl days just to smell every now and then)Maglód -

Reviewed April 16, 2020 (edited September 13, 2020)If you’re reading this, chances are you’re not a connaisseur, but I do applaud you for being adventurous! So here’s what you need to know: This is a harsh cognac. Very spicy and has a long-lasting taste. It does have subtle cherry and honey notes, but the long-lasting ‘harshness’ cannot be understated. I would definitely not describe this as ‘round’, ‘smooth’ or in any way ‘soft’. Not the kind of cognac you’d want to have again in one evening, unless you’re into the ugly-face-raspy-voice combo, in which case this cognac is for you.117.0 CAD per BottleMontreal -
