Dad's Hat Pennsylvania Rye Whiskey

Soft belgian yeast, herbal tea nose. Unsweetened iced tea. Eucalyptus and raw, dusty grains. Spicy.

Drank neat. Quite tasty and smooth

It tastes horrible, just like a sweaty hat full of BO. Aptly named.

Not sweet. But Smooth.

Tasting neat: Nose offers tons of peppermint grass with a hint of lemon and some maraschino cherry juice notes. Palate brings hot rye spice light, dry caramel. Finishes quick and very dry with more peppermint.

Nose: cloyingly sweet but acrid smoke as well, no spice, lots of ethanol smell Taste: I couldn't find any rye spices through the smoke, smoke, and more smoke. But it was also sweet. Pretty awful stuff. No more smoke in my ryes, please. Gave it to the neighbor who will drink anything.
