Dulce Vida Blanco 100 Proof Tequila

Perfectly acceptable for margaritas, I like the commitment to organic farming.

I have to say. I’ve had plenty of tequilas. Second only to bourbon and my wife’s first choice, I get the opportunity to sample and drink plenty of tequilas. What typically happens is that the high dollar stuff gets consumed by my wife and I get second choice. Well, in this case, it was a “silver”. Considered by my wife to be sub-optimal, this left me with Dolce Vida Silver. I liked the idea of an organic option and I’m telling you I fell in love. I’m serious. This is amazing. I mean, it’s got a place on my bourbon shelf. It’s clean and crisp and wonderful. Get some. Trust me. Enjoy it. It’s amazing.

This is truly an exceptional tequila at any level (blanco, Reposado, anejo). What I mean is though a blanco, it can compete with any of the higher level stuff. Ie the other styles supposedly and typically considered better. This is a great tequila. Found on a vacation. And now I’ll be trying to find it closer to home. Clean and crisp. Smooth and tasty. One of the tops.

Strong alcohol presence, spicy, some agave. Some herbal notes, earthiness offsets most of the alcohol.
