Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel Bourbon

Nose: s’mores or marshmallow. Very unique. Light dark fruit as well. Palate: very sweet, rich, velvety. Full bodied and amazing Finish: long finish with decent burn Overall I loved this bourbon and would definitely buy it again. Don’t hesitate to pull the trigger on this bottle- it is unique and tasty.

Really very flavorful. Does not have the same oak flavor as the small barrel I recently tried, and although the brown sugar aftertaste is there, it’s not as intense as the original. Very, very good.

Sweet

Very sweet brown sugar and honey nose with some fruit undertones, maybe raisin, but not overpowering. Sweet notes dominate the palette with a rising spice climaxing near the finish. Finish is long lasting with pepper and tobacco notes. No wonder I can’t find this, it’s excellent!

This was my first toasted barrel but I couldn’t tell much of a difference between it and the small batch
