EnGINe Gin

Really floral and bright gin, strong citrus on the nose and some subtle sage and licorice on the palate.

Sauge, rose, réglisse, citron

A very pleasant gin, overall. Nose is quite caustic (think paint thinner), which coming right out of the can did not inspire confidence 😂 First taste is delicate and smooth, and then a nice bitterness (dark juniper notes and nearly burnt lime peel come to mind) follows. Finish and after taste are quite mild, and dont linger. In a G&T the darkness of this gin opens a bit, but bitterness is still retained. In a negroni it melds fantastically with the Campari. If you’re a fan of darker, bitter gins then this is a good one.

Not sure if I’ve ever had Italian Gin before. But if it tastes like this then I’m a big fan. Bright and refteshing. Citrus lemon with a grapefruit finish. Juniper is very mild but licorice and sage are more pronounced. Very interesting can design which made me buy it.

Super smooth, bit peppery at the end. Nice neat and with a tonic

Citrus(lemon) forward, but on the milder end of citrus forward. I get considerable spice, a surprising amount really, on the back end with a black pepper bite, and possibly sage. Well balanced, possibly too well balanced, but it's light and fresh and pretty OK. Makes a tasty gin and tonic. Hard to resist the packaging as well, though I found the dimensions of the can a little difficult to pour into my bar measure compared to a taller, bottle.

a bright, citrusy gin that is good for summer tonic sipping. can be paired with lime or lemon in tonic. very enjoyable on nose & palate.
