Nose of cinnamon, cherry and oak and a whiff of smoke and ash. Cinnamon on the palate, with nuts, oak, apple and sugar. Not at all a bad buy for the price.
I had this at 2.75, but thanks to @twostal I’ve given it another try. For whatever reason it seems richer and fuller. Works for me!
Tried neat. On the palate I get vanilla, oak, fruit. On the palate it’s soft and smooth with notes of vanilla cream, wood, caramel, brown sugar, & honey-citrus. It is actually much better than my expectations. I see you Evan Williams 👀
Overall a very mild flavor profile. No one note sticks out above the other. It's a light, easy drink taken neat. With being so mild already, I'd avoid it taken on the rocks. It's a step above the basic stuff you'll find on every liquor shelf but there's not much more to it. If you like a mild, light, and easy sipper then this could definitely be for you. I suppose if you wanted to make a bourbon based cocktail with this then you could give it a try. Just go into it with the expectation this will be providing alcohol content and not much else.
