Garrison Brothers Balmorhea Texas Straight Bourbon

Release date 2021c bottle 38413. Tried neat thanks to @Looneyhead for finding me a bottle of this. Super dark in color, amber/copper. On the nares I get toast, burnt marshmallows, caramel, vanilla, tobacco, dark cherries, on the palate it’s smooth with a hot Finish with notes of Cream Brulé, tobacco, toffee, hickory bacon. Holy Heidi. Put a piece of ice in it and it really opens it up with notes of fruit like figs, cherries, dates. Making it a perfectly balanced rich bourbon. Side note: I haven’t tried anything else of garrison brothers bc I heard it was all trash. @looneyhead said this was a amazing and he was not lying.. this sh*t is delicious 🤤

*be careful with this one, if sipping a new whiskey after this, wash the glass thoroughly as this one lingers in the glass* Dark copper color Grain and grass nose Cinnamon, rye, licorice, dill, oats. Medium long finish with cola, has a balcones rye finish

I like it! Unique flavor profile. Big, bold, cherry cola, vanilla all day!
