Heavy peanut on the nose. Surprising how long the a strong vanilla flavor stays on the pallet when tasted neat but as you add ice or water the peanut and char come way to the front and stay around until a dry finish

Plenty of bang for the buck here. If this was in a Weller bottle, I bet the rating would be much higher.

Smells like corn. a little bite but smooth

Harsh at the end. Little bitter

Char, vanilla and sweet

Peanut shells, popcorn, salted peanuts, vanilla frosting, touches of rye and mint. Hints of ash and brine in the finish. On par with, if not even better than, Balcones Baby Blue.
