George Remus Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Flaviar Tasting #2... Better than the Redemption Wheated. Still a little thin... not much complexity. Definitely high rye, as I have read it is. Lots of spice, but it's enjoyable. Would definitely be a great mixer, if nothing else. But I doubt I will be purchasing it.

Nice and smooth

On the nose: Caramel, Vanilla Palate: Toasted Marshmallow, Caramel, Butterscotch Finish: Sweet, Cinnamon, Campfire Rich Spice. Solid bottle for the price point. Definitely gives off that great Buffalo Trace feel.

Finally, I got around to the famed Remus. The nose gives off char and light smoke. The white oak really comes through. Scents of caramel dominate your senses matched with sweet vanilla and baking spices in your typical bourbon notes. Smooth taste but no complexity. Slight heat that lingers with caramel. Solid
