On the palate it heavily coats your tongue and a tough oaky-ness sits on the taste buds for the better first half of the taste. The flavor sharply turns through the oak into a velvety berry spice finish. One of the best finishes on a bourbon I have personally tasted. -

Reviewed July 21, 2020A light caramel sweetness with baking spice on the nose. Cinnamon sugar on a churro. Bold up front on the palate that quickly fades to sweetness then reappears as spice on the back of the tongue. Oak is prevalent in the long finish. Very good. -
