Gin Mare

A nice bottle that has a very distinct flavor profile. The taste of olives is quite prominent, which allows for some interesting pairings. For someone like me, however, who is generally not too fond of olives, it’s just a tad much

What a unique gin! Very strong olive and sea flavor, along with some spice on the finish. Nose is strongly olive to me, with a number of other ingredients hiding behind it. This gin would pair fantastically with seafood or a savory charcuterie, but less so with other meals. Because of the specificness of this gin, I respect it for its role but wouldn’t purchase again or sip neat without a meal pairing.

Rosemary

The herbs aren’t as pronounced here as in some other gins. But at the same time, it doesn’t really mix well with anything fruity. Not complex enough to drink neat, but not plain enough to mix.
