The rye hits like a kick in the mouth, which is a good thing of you like ryes. Nose was full of citrus for me, but as it got more air, I started to get hints of cinnamon.
Taste evolved as well. Full of rye and pepper, pretty spicy. But then the finish of cinnamon that the professional tasting notes outlines as well.
Overall, a good sipping whiskey. Plan to use this for a variety of cocktails as well.
