Hudson Baby Bourbon (DISCONTINUED)

Light and flowery with some vanilla and notes of barrel. Sweet with some char.

Dark straw/light molasses color and doesn't even move off the glass. Nose is Caramel, dark toast, cornflakes, some vanilla and a bit of musty grain bin... Big and syrupy on the palate. The viscosity carries the barrel notes throughout. It's a little "raw", but authentic and enjoyable. Finishes with medium length and leaves vanilla and a bit of burnt molasses. Not Stellar but enjoyable.

N: vanilla, hint of cherry, toffee. Warming spices. Some oak. P: friendly and sweet upfront, then moderate spices and oaky bitterness. F: mouth covering honey sweetness, later on more spicy which goes away quickly. Good, balanced bourbon with not too much complexity.

The nose is floral, fruity, and slightly citrus. The palette is spicy up front, followed my mildly spicy. The finish is very mild and smooth with a hint of lingering spice.
