Indri Trini The Three Wood Indian Single Malt

Another excellent review from Stephanie Moreno. Very unique flavor. Lots of baking spice, honey, orchard fruit and cereal on the nose. Slight alcohol nip. Softer on the palate with some charred wood mingling with the fruit, especially orange peel. Velvety mouth-feel and pleasantly warm alcohol burn. It loves a drop or two of water. Very nice overall.

This is light, citrusy, malty and woody with a bit of a bite. Would be a wonderful warm weather sipper and would do well on ice if you are so inclined. Not sure I’d buy another bottle. Deanston 12, Arran 10, Aultmore 12 or a Bladnoch might be a better buy.

Enjoyed this quite a bit. First Indian whiskey, tried it after having a Manhattan cocktail made with it. Fruity, sweet, a little smokiness - i like a sherried whiskey

Little bit sharp and muff, but very fruity Not my kind of whisky, but it's okay

This is a weird one and im not sure where i stand yet. There is the more common caramel, hay, vanilla cereal which evolves into some baking spice, red fruits, SLIGHT anise and the finish comes along with more baking spice, a tad bit more oak and what another reviewer mentioned on the finish as grassy roasted coconut. The finish is the most interesting thing i encountered, but that doesnt make it great. what does make it great is the price point of around 40 bucks and that its nice to try a malt outside of scotland. i may return to taste again
