Nose is initially peat but subsides to almost a mesquite BBQ smell. Richness of some sort of caramel, oakiness with a hint of vanilla or maybe even coffee. Body is silky with light peat and some smoke. Spice towards the back end. Short to medium finish with heavier spice towards the back end.
More charred wood with slight smoke than peat but very nice. I prefer Corsair Triple Smoke over this if I had to compare but this is a fall night around the campfire in a glass
