Jack Daniel's 12 Year (Batch 2)

Quite a nice flavor on this one. Smooth and tasty!

Nose is deep and rich charred old oak with a banana molasses sweetness Taste is big and bold up front - oak / molasses punch. Coats the palate like no other with a wild butteriness. Finishes long with a barrel char, powdered-sugar banana fosters, molasses, and a charred-almond tang. Really good

Proof dominates fist taste. But give it time. Carmel toffee maple dried fruit start to come through. Very good. Not sure it lives up to the hype or the price.

Very oak heavy like the 10 year but a lot more spice. Not as much sweetness as I’d like, especially for a heavy corn bill.

Strong char. Trademark Jack Daniel flavor. Pretty high octane. Unique, but not necessarily aomething i would look forward to as a regular sipper.
