Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Strength Tennessee Whiskey

Big hitter. The nose reveals the proof pretty darn well. Definitely a lot of darker flavors. Palette is earthy- tobacco, leather, coffee, with some nice vanilla molasses maple sweetness. A lot of toasted oak that ends on almost a charcoal flavor that I’m not a big fan of. Kind of reminds me of the smell of a small town diner during breakfast. Adding water definitely brought out more of the sweet side and tamed the harsher notes.

Nose: chocolate chip pancakes with syrup, cinnamon, slight peanuts Taste: reflective of the nose with an exceptional finish An excellent whiskey that every collector needs to try. Consistent quality and intense flavor in every bottle I've had

Barrel No. 21-09928 Barrel House 2-37 Bottled 12/1/21 Deep, sugary sweet nose. Flavorful, medium mouthfeel. Cinnamon redhot finish builds slowly into a nice hug. Never becomes too hot, but the proof is evident. Very enjoyable sip.

OHLQ pick. Initial sip is a spicy burn. After it's a tsunami of banana cream pie and sugary notes. 126 proof - used an ice ball for 90 sec = perfect. Already bought a backup bottle.

Nose: slightly astringent Palate: cherries, oak Finish: lingering dry finish

Taste: Banana foster with notes of caramel. Nice sweet whiskey. The barrel proof is a beautiful thing. Over 130 proof and it is easy enjoyed neat.
