Reviewed January 3, 2022 (edited January 16, 2022)Nose: Deep fruity, high alcohol, orange peel. Palate: Syrupy thick, banana bread, strawberry. Powerful, Walmart grainy oak flavor. Hazmat hot slightly overpowers the absolutely amazing flavors this whiskey had to offer. JD did excellent with this one and would highly recommend finding yourself a taste!Charleston south Carolina -

Reviewed January 1, 2022 (edited February 23, 2022)Heavy baked banana bread with caramel and vanilla on the nose with a light spicy cinnamon, chocolate raisin and burnt caramel chip taste. Long toasted milk chocolate barrel finish. This is the 71.9% abv one. I can't wait to run into the high proof ones as well. The Elijah Craig Barrel Proof C919 is hotter than this at a lower proof. Not that I didn't like it but, it's crazy how well the proof is hidden on this. Jack Daniel's definitely impressed me with this. Wish I had more bottles of this. Not only is it an amazing whiskey but, the bottle design is pretty damn sweet.
