Jefferson's Ocean Aged at Sea Voyage 26 Rye

Has that distinct Ocean taste, but in a rye form. Like the original Bourbon a little better, but the rum version is cool

It’s been years since I had a Jefferson’s Ocean bourbon that was memorable. But this rye is very unique. Nose: toast and molasses, dill pickle, candy corn Taste: clasic rye but hints of vanilla baking spice you’d find in bourbon. Finish: medium

Delicious. Liked it better than the last voyage release. I personally like the Rye version more than the bourbon. The sharpen notes allowed to stand out versus the extra aging and still has a thicker mouth feel. Light nose. 

Nose: leather, rye orange? Sweet mint candy. Dill and peanut, some grain. Short finish
