Jim Beam 7 Year Old has great aromas of rich pipe tobacco, toffee, and oak. The entry is sweet with caramel and allspice. The finish is sweet black tea, vanilla and baking spices. A little too sweet to be a good mixer or straight .

Nose: peanut butter, oakey
Pallet: nuttey, vanilla, caramel
Really good for the cost of this whiskey - value is great. It’s more complex than some other entry level whiskeys - good transitions between nose to pallet. Comparable to Evan Williams 1873 and some entry Knob Creek products.
Taste: There is some toasted marshmallow up front. It finishes with green apple and booziness. It is sweet with a slick mouthfeel.
Look: Amber
Smell: Vanilla and corn with an ethanol sting
