A real tasty $40 bottle! Very smooth. Not as mich peat as inlike, but still has a full flavor that sits in your mouth without any burn. Buy again for sure

I prefer this to the JW12. Light smoke and peat but creamy and caramel flavours come through. For a blended scotch thst offers smoke peat and deep caramel would recommed this a try.

Notably more oaky than Black thanks to a longer maturation, its a deeper colour too. Whilst smoky it remains very gentle and rounded - there’s a honey sweetness at the heart of this - meaning its a good everyday, unchallenging dram.

Nose: caramel, smoke, vanilla Palate: more caramel, herbal, mild peat, brine Finish: slightly smoky, green apple Was expecting more smoke on the palate but it’s not bad. More bold than regular JW black.
