Nose : Sweet sherry, cherry candy, barbecue ribs, oak Palate : sherry, oak, spice, smoke Conclusion : Much prefer this to the Machir Bay, this expression is great. Sweet sherry and smoke. Not as peaty as i expected but very good. If you enjoy peat and sherry you will love this bottle.

Sweet and smoky on the nose. Peppery and of course smoke on the front, after swallowing its like you’ve just eaten a good piece of bbq with a nice bark on it. Medium smooth finish; alcohol burn is pretty mild on this one.

Fantastic expression from Kilchoman! BBQ meats and sweet sherry notes go very well together apparently 😎!
