King's Creek Black Label Tennessee Whiskey

Reviewed December 8, 2024A rich Tennessee Sour Mash Whiskey made with a mash bill of primarily corn, some rye & barley; slow filtered through charcoal maple chips; then aged for a minimum of 4 years in new, charred American oak barrels & bottled at 80 proof. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grain, wood & spice; while a complex life adds notes of corn, caramel, cinnamon & oak; that leads to a rich death of medium length. Reviewed October 15, 2024Oak, caramel, vanilla. People hate on this, but this is not a bourbon it’s a Tennessee whiskey. Similar to Jack Daniels just better. -

Reviewed June 28, 2024Tastes like someone left a bottle of jim beam to oxidize for a while. Acetone and burn, sweetness tastes artificial. Terrible, but two stars for not being Canadian. -

Reviewed May 25, 2024Oh my gosh, no. This is a Total Wine brand that is nothing more than a money grab. It’s awful. I would rather drink cough medicine. The nose is the best part. However, the sip and finish are medicinal. The finish is a pergatory of smoke, burn, and dirt. Please, save your money or by a JB or Forester which are a world apart from this mess of a whisky. The only bottle I've poured out.22.0 USD per Bottle -
