Knob Creek Single Barrel Select Bourbon

Heavy ethanol on the nose. Initially the palate was hot fire, but as it’s opened up, it’s chock full of honey and maple-y peanutty goodness. The finish is medium length and almost evaporates off the tongue.

Vanilla, milk chocolate, pistachio and oak nose. Oily mouth feel with a spikey finish that’s to be expected given its 120 proof

This was a single barrel select from Passion Vines W-1, F-06, R-056. Distiller would not let me add it. Tastes of cherry, vanilla, and oak. Lingering taste of honey. Some milk chocolate on the back end. Very smooth for 120 proof.
