The nose is mellow but greets you with a burst of baking spices, creamy oak, ripe fruit, and touches kf nuttiness and molasses. Its very smooth and inviting and has those distinct Heaven Hill notes.
The palate is somewhat rich and chewy with an immediate hot burst of baking spices, followed by oak, ripe fruit, with touches of vanilla, peanut and molasses behind it. It very full bodied with a great intensity of flavor. It can definitely be a little too spice dominant, but after getting beyond that, there is much to explore.
The finish is long and spicy with a lingering heat as oak slowly fades.
