Limavady Single Barrel Single Malt

Initial nose was as if it were still in the barrel, but it mellowed out very quickly. The wood notes and spices remained in a very well balanced taste.

Sweet, perhaps salt and/or pepper.

Pears! Smooth

NOSE Banana taffy, malty sweetness, vanilla candy, graham, dried apples, touch waxy and floral. Fairly standard aroma without anything sharp or off. PALATE Banana taffy, malty sweetness, vanilla candy, graham, dried apples, touch waxy and caramel. Not too different from aroma and again a fairly standard delivery. FINISH Medium -> Banana, vanilla, baking spice and graham.
