Limavady Single Barrel Single Malt

Sweet, spicy, and hints of smoke on the nose. Sweet vanilla and caramel mixed with fruit and spice on the palate. It's a dry finish with more spice.

Main sweetness note is apple for me, tart and sweet like a honeycrisp. Spice underneath and on the tail gives it apple cider vibes, but without the bright sparkle. Medium to light body, tail feels almost estringent. Interesting.

Nose: fruits, orange Body: light, stone fruit, Finish: light heat and spice

Okay, I’m intrigued by this one… luck of thr Irish I guess! Anyway as these types of whiskies go this may be my favorite yet! I like the mystery of the flavor but identified some in my flavor notes. A little woody to me but no peat. Starts to build a little heat but that backs away nicely before it overwhelms everything else. Might keep this on on the bar top!
