Maybe biased from the expert review, but it’s very grainy, earthy, malty, and young. It’s not bad, certainly hits some good notes. Almost reminiscent of a young crafter bourbon that’s more balanced. The only thing I hate about it is the price tag but not dying to find a bottle
Subtle and mellow aroma belies a pleasant and welcome heat that's comes in two waves. First is peppery and quickly intense, followed by a slightly more intense heat that leaves you warm with notes of tobacco, caramel, and oak. Very nice bourbon, I would easily recommend this to others.

Very mild nose. Had a hard time picking a nose. I get an Apple note, but having a tough time picking up much more than that. Maybe a touch of raison. Zero ethanol which is great for a 117 proofer.
Taste is very good, but it’s lacking and brings down the overall experience for what could have been an outstanding bottle down to very good. Had a hard time drawing out distinguishing notes on the taste. No regrets on the buy and will taste again soon.
Finish is outstanding…warming and long. A bit of a tea note coming through.

Runs hot for my taste. After about 10-15 minutes with an ice ball became more enjoyable for me. Vanilla and caramel notes. Not a favorite of mine, but pretty solid offering still.
