Vanilla covered fruits dusted in pepper. Very easy to drink.

Nose: Pine needles and faint honey, speyside fruitiness (red apples, pears, nectarines), raspberry candies, cigar shop (moist tobacco), tangerine and grapefruit peels, orange flavoured dark chocolate,malted barley sugars, milk chocolate with sweet citrus filling, soft and fresh caramel, light basil with mixed orchard fruit, slight floral eau de cologne note, peanut and caramel nougat filled chocolate bar, butterscotch, lavender soaps, green apple scented soap, sweet lemon drop candies, brandy-like dried fruit (fresh raisins, prunes, dates, figs, apricots), slightly tart/acidic sweet tea, cinnamon, sweet oak, baking spices (cloves, nutmeg, cardamom), slight hint of marbled rye bread, light dill, some vanilla bean, tart plums covered in maple syrup Palate: Sweet green apples, cinnamon, sweet oak, spicy rye, a hint of mint chocolate, peppermint, some bubblegum fruitiness, sweet tea with spicy paprika and cinnamon sticks, mulled hot apple cider with baking spices, chocolate orange Finish: Sweet tea with orange wedges, cinnamon sticks and mixed ground pepper, red apple skins, oak spice and tannins, slight sticky toffee and stale caramel, cinnamon baked pears

Nose: Baking Spices everywhere, Rye Bread (Duh), caramel, brown sugar, maple, butterscotch, orange peel, Slight maraschino. Honestly kind of smells like an old-fashioned. 8.5/10 Palate: Black Pepper, Rye again (Duh), More Baking Spices, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, hint of clove, FRESH HIGH QUALITY CIGAR TOBACCO. If you've ever smoked a nice fresh high quality sweet cigar you can taste a bit of this. Vanilla. 9/10 Finish: Average Lenght, Oaky Tannins, Cinnamon, Black Pepper and Clove. 7.75/10 Very high quality Rye Whiskey for the price will buy again and again I'm sure. I will also explore their line up further. 92 points.

Medium bodied, complex, yet pulls a bit of punches. Almost too balanced. Tastes like a bakery (milk chocolate, butterscotch, rye bread, cinnamon & baking spices). Wish there was more rye sourness.
