This is definitely one of my fave Whisky’s! Is it worth the money well no not to me if I was rich maybe. However it is full of sherry notes and emphasized cherry notes you don’t typically get in a sherry cask plus it is smooth and oily. Tasted beside redbreast 12 and Jameson 18 and you can clearly see the difference in smoothness and richness of flavour. I guess on the end at the price range I really liked/ love the Bruichladdoch black arts series better it is more complex and flavourful but this macallan is smoother. Definitely worth trying! My friend julian notes grape leaf cigar kinda humidor notes very complex stuff from beginning to end
