Mezcal Los Siete Misterios Doba-Yej

Starts off smooth and sweet banana and agave, but the finish is bracing alcohol and band aids. Medium smoke. Ok but not great

Just tasty. A little bit of burn at the end.

Very smoke forward.

On the nose there are minerals, lime, earth, vanilla, greenery, stone fruit, smoke, wood and agave. Exceptionally smooth; rich, with flavors of char, lime, confectioner’s sugar, smoke, earth, and black pepper. At the finish quite dry with some spice and an ashy flavor. Overall rich, warm, full-flavored, and I’m guessing fairly accessible for someone new to mezcal.
