On the nose there are minerals, lime, earth, vanilla, greenery, stone fruit, smoke, wood and agave. Exceptionally smooth; rich, with flavors of char, lime, confectioner’s sugar, smoke, earth, and black pepper. At the finish quite dry with some spice and an ashy flavor.
Overall rich, warm, full-flavored, and I’m guessing fairly accessible for someone new to mezcal.
