Michter's US*1 Barrel Strength Rye

-Nose: very under stated nose. I get some caramel. -Palate: the cherry red vine note is my favorite. Some tabacco on the back of the palate. This is so well rounded and such a smooth pour. Finish: decent kentucky hug. Mouth coating. 4.75/5 stars. I got it in a bundle with some other items.

Nose of oak, rye, smoke, green peppercorns, brine, green herbs. On the palate rye, oak, mint, vanilla, cinnamon. Long spicy finish.

Quite spicy cinnamon starts very early, making it hard to pull a lot of other flavors out, but I get some chocolate, coffee, and caramel, plus the expected rye and oak.

Pumpernickel, leather, tobacco, oak. Not very sweet. Not overly spicy but tastes like a rye. Subtle chocolate, clove.

The wife says apple jolly ranchers on the nose. I say, definitely spicy cinnamon, more oily than the graph says. Syrupy dark fruit with a bright full bodied mouthfeel

Lives up to the billing, cinammon, allspice and red apple. Long finish
